When Char Gar Gothakon attacks again later, Hatecraft feels guilty and comes clean about his books, claiming that he made up all the stories and they aren't based on real creatures. Just then Char Gar Gothakon appears and chases HP to his old mansion with the Gang in pursuit. They follow the creature to the rooftop where it has Hatecraft trapped. In the confusion, the monster slips and is roped by the Gang. They unmask it, revealing the fan Robert E. Howard who giving them a very unlikely explanation.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated (originally known as Scooby-Doo! Mystery, Inc.) is the eleventh incarnation of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo animated series, and the first incarnation not to be first-run on Saturday mornings. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network and is a reboot of the franchise.
The show is a lot darker and a lot more fun than the previous reincarnations and is worth checking out for these reasons.
- The student Robert E. Howard obviously bares the same name as Conan the Barbarian creator and HP Lovecraft's friend (and correspondent
- Lovecraftian regular, Jeffrey Combs does the voice of Author Hatecraft.
